Finally Found One Negative

According to insideline.com the GX does have speed-sensitive steering; I also remember seeing that on the Lexus.ca website as well, but it looks like it's been removed for 2011.
Here's the website to insideline.com
For rear side view cameras, I've never heard of that one before! Which manufacturers have them?

i dont believe that. the gx does NOT have speed sensitive steering. The steering feels loose at all speeds. Show me the officical specs from lexus. They removed it from 2011? It was never on the gx to begin with
The steering should stiffen up at higher speeds and it doesnt.

Variable assist is usually a function of road speed, not engine speed.

Yes, this is extremely annoying to me. The only way to change the blower without getting into the climate screen is to turn off or hit auto and lower the temp SO IT WILL BLOW YOUR FACE OFF. No in between.
Also I think the nav is extremely unintuitive. My Garmin is much more efficiently designed. Say I find an address and want to save it. With Garmin, it prompts you to add the name when you save. Done. With Lexus, you have to save. THEN go BACK and find the entry to add the name. But no, you don't pick the entry and edit the name, you have to say address book, THEN EDIT, THEN FIND THE NAME. So I keep picking the entry and then realize, duh, I have to go back and click edit. Completely unintuitive. And say I want to find something in my address book that starts with a letter near the end of the alphabet, I have to scroll . . . down. .. . the . . . .address book. . . till. . . the. . . . end. No way to search address book, just sort by date or name.
Who designs these things????
Finally, my dh ordered weather tech liners for me AT CHRISTMAS and I still don't have them.

Lots of things need to be put on this (not so much a negative point but they should be on this!)
Automatic notification of authorities in case of accident
Speed Sensitive steering
Display individual tire pressures
Blind spot warning
Nite vision / Heads up display
Adaptive braking tail lights
Auto Parking
Level Indicator for those with adjustable suspension
Led DRL's
Side Cameras on rear for left and right
Engine Cylinder shut off when power is not needed
Hybrid powertrain
Auto stop/braking when obstacle in front (OK, the PCS is there, but should in fact decide to stop the vehicle)
No Skid plate on transfer case.
should i go on? Just look at the technology on some german manufacturers for the future. Lexus has some catching up to do. It just blows my mind the stuff thats not on cars/suvs that should be.
Still i love the gx...

i thought you folks should know, As i mentioned above, lexus was way behind on tech features. now it seems that the new ES will have the RCTA ( my rear side monitoring system mentioned above) when backing out .... they are just catching up, but i am sure it will be included on future gx's...

The 2014 has outside temp display inbetween the main gauges.
And the steering feel is great. I would not describe it as "loose" at all. Quite progressive and natural, predictable.
