Unhappy GX470 Problems --- Did I get a lemon?

I am beginning to have questions about the quality of my GX470 and the service I am receiving. The rubbery trim on the inside of the rear doors keeps coming off and falling into the car leaving grease everywhere. Today is the fourth time my vehicle is at the dealership to fix the problem. They have replaced the part on one door and it happened again. On the other door they have ordered the wrong part and then the part came in damaged. On Friday, the dealership had assured me that they checked both doors and that it should be fine -- on Sunday the trim on both doors feel in simultaneously on my passengers in the back seat. They want to now glue the stripping to the doors which also has me concerned as this sounds like a kludge.

The fan clutch is also bad on my car and the part is on order.

Has anyone else had problems with their car???

Sorry to hear about your problems. Ours has not shown any signs of the problem you describe.

Your GX sounds better than your dealer. It continues to amaze me how confused dealers can get when fixing some problems on expensive cars.

Call Lexus and let them know the problems.

I've had the same confusion with my RX300. The dealers really don't know what they're doing sometimes. They always say that there is nothing wrong with my car.
