Default Timing belt replacement

Sorry if been discussed already, my truck is at 91k miles now and going strong. Do I really need to do this service or I can drive till 100-110k also what parts do I need to order when doing this service. Thanks for the input.

I saw this set of parts is it all the I need or am I missing something. Gonna procure the parts and let mechanic put it on for me.

1 Mitsuboshi Timing Belt (211 teeth)
1 GMB Timing Belt Tensioner Bearing
1 GMB Timing Belt Idler Bearing
2 Camshaft Seals
1 Crankshaft Seal
1 AISIN Water Pump with gasket

Do I also need the Hydraulic tensioner ?

I would buy this kit from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...=ATVPDKIKX0DER

it has all the parts except the seals, which I have heard are very labor intensive to install and may not be terribly necessary given your trucks mileage. The tensioner is probably the MOST important thing to change outside of the belt itself and water pump.

I did mine at 115000. Belt looked new, no major issues, just noisy bearings on various pulleys, etc.

Do you all think age is a factor in replacing timing belt. How many years would you let a low mileage rig go before considering replacement?

I personally believe that age is a factor, much like how tires will age-out. Lots depends on where you live (ambient temperatures), how it gets driven, whether you tow, and so on.

If there's any doubt, I say change it. $1k for a belt swap is way cheaper than putting in a new short-block or a machine-shop charge.
