Fair price for my 2003 GX470?
Hello,
I'm considering selling my 2003 GX. I'd like to solicit your honest opinion to determine a fair selling price. The GX is fully loaded with the Mark Levinson sound system, rear entertainment, third row seats, NAV and is impeccably maintained.
Here are some details:
Miles: 141K
Color: Silver Pine Metallic (descent condition, a few nicks, stone chips, scratches). I have added the 2004+ rear spoiler which is absent on 2003s.
Interior: Beige (Driver seat has a patched tear, rest is good)
Mechanical:
Timing belt change by PO at 90K
New Michelin LTX M/S2 tires at 130K (Costco)
New Brakes (New Centric Premium coated rotors, HPS LTS pads, SS braided break lines, calipers rebuild with factory parts, brake fluid flush) at 130K miles
New updated driveshaft, (no more clunking) at 130K miles
New spark plugs, air filters, belts, O2 sensors at 130K miles
New rear suspension airbags (factory)
All fluids changed (tranny, front and rear diff, Toyota coolant, ps) at 130K miles and synthetic oil changes with Castrol Edge 0W30
New factory thermostat, cooling system flush with Toyota antifreeze and distilled water, new hoses, no leaks, no overheating issues
No error codes (using the Toyota Techstream diag software)
No leaks of any kind
Upgrades:
Upgraded to a 2006 Lexus NAV system with recent maps
Parrot Bluetooth integration with full Bluetooth streaming support, USB, iPod, etc. Works great.
Tow package (came with the car, never used)
Upgraded the front doors speaker woofers (no more distorted sound)
The Lexus drives like a dream. The only negatives are the tear (but patched) in the driver's seat, some paint imperfections (normal for it's age), and a small tear at the dashborad where I've mounted the Parrot screen display (my fault) which is hardly noticeable.
The car is located in Denver, CO where the GX470s are very popular and high in demand.
Thanks in advance for your input.
Jim

You can always list it 1-2k hiugher than you think its worth and see what happens. Id start at 14.9k and let her ride.
For perspective I purchased my 03 with 139k (which was in more moderate condition, not impeccable) for 10k in SoCal but I think i got a great deal and AWD vehicles are almost a hindrance here because we dont have weather. .

Wow that's crazy expensive. I have an 04 with new OEM: timing belt, pump, fan clutch, radiator (plus cap, hoses, thermostat new coolant). wheels, tires (Bridgestone), front axles, front calipers, fluids (trans and diffs), Thule roof rack and two bike rails, Bluetooth streaming.... Tons of other stuff I'm forgetting.
You can have mine for 12 haha
