GX470 '06 Rear Dome Light

My rear dome light does not work when the door is open. The bulb works when switched to on, but won't activate when in the 'door' position...

My old 4runner had the same problem! What gives?

Do your other lights come on when you open the door ?? If so...you probably need a new switch assembly...or you could try to remove it and clean the contacts.

it a festoon bulb and it may have slipped out one of the contacts. Take a detailer pik or a detailer plastic trim tool and pry that cover off right there and you can see the bulb right there
