2004 Lexus GX470
253,000 miles
Oil comes out slightly darker than it went in each 3,000 miles.
Colorado most of it's life
Runs strong. Works great. Not getting rid of it anytime soon.

2007 sold at 108k miles , got a new GX460 didn’t have any problems just upgraded. Was very solid just regular maintenance apart from the rear struts leaked. Which I converted to regular 4Runner struts.

Bought my 2008 last November for a daily driver/stuff hauler. Had 92K miles when bought and now, almost exactly a year to the day, it has 112K. I'm very tempted to trade her in on a 15-16' GX460 but I'm putting too many miles on this one and loading/unloading a lot of stuff in it to justify the swap.

After buying the 470, I did the timing belt, water pump, etc (90K service). It's been running like a champ. Only issues to come up recently were leaking air suspension bags and some worn rear shocks. Had the air bags recently replaced with the Westar versions and will be installing the OEM 4Runner shocks either today or tomorrow myself. The stock shocks were fine according to Lexus but after driving 20K miles this year, it's definitely not driving as good as it was a month or 2 ago. Hoping the shock swap clears the issue up. These are really great cars overall.

As far as how long I plan to keep it, I'll probably bite the bullet and trade her in a year from now. Should be at at about 132K miles by then.

‘03 with 114k miles. Break even is about 3 years for all work done to date, but looking to hold on to this for more years after that.

Well, all updated technology. The interior and exterior of the 460 is great. For the most part the quality is improved or the same. Still feels like a tank. It feels heavier. The local mechanic always comments that the 470 feels very athletic. The 460 feels a bit heavier but look, its not a sports car.

I love the seats in the 460 and the feel of the steering wheel, and how all of the controls have a high quality touch to them.

The 460 seems to be the same quality of the 470 but with a much higher luxury feel and touches. Great car(s)!.

I drove a 2017 Gx and it was not as fun as my 2008 Gx470 seemed slower of the line
Reviews state it's faster

Bought my '08 one year ago with 83K now has 102K , plan to keep her till I sell her and maybe buy another , depends on the price of fuel .
Right now I am wanting to replace my Infiniti qx50 with some thing else , maybe a 2015 or 2016 RX350
