Headlight Assembly
Does anyone have a good resource for a set of new or like new headlight assemblies? (Tried scouring ebay and craigslist, both places have stupid high prices for EXTREMELY used looking assemblies).
I have tried a few different headlight restoration kits but nothing works for longer than 2 months. The yellow/hazy tinge really bugs the ****-retentive side of me.

I agree, I have the same issue. The restoration kits don't last long plus a cheap headlight bulb broke off in one of my assemblies. eBay headlights are going for over $150 a piece used, WOW

After you "restore" them you need to coat them w/ clearcoat. Thats why the hazing / yellow is coming back, nothing is protecting them.
eBay is the only place. Gotta pay to play....

I just find it hard to pay prices that in my opinion warrant new or like new assemblies. The ones on ebay don't look very good AT the prices they want.
My most recent attempt at a restoration kit was with a Crystal View kit. The second half of that kit included putting a UV resistent "sealant" that smelled much like clearcoat
