GX vs LX vs QX
#5
I used to think LX, but have recently decided the QX is the better choice.
QX is more powerful, faster and drives better. Subjectively, I prefer the QX interior especially with the dual rear captain chairs. Even so, I much prefer the LX exterior even though it looks like a giant Highlander. Finally, the QX is less $ (though that's not a factor in this poll).

gotta say the gx470 is the only truck with a classy exterior for me... qx and lx both look funky
i have seen too many g35 and maxima nearing the 300k mile mark that i no longer think toyota is the only reliable car out there... so i gotta go with the qx if gx didn't exist...

IMO the LX570's exterior styling leaves a lot to be desired especially in the rear, taillights in particular I can't stand, also seems to sit too low making it not look aggressive as the GX. Thought about the QX but the reliability ratings by consumer reports are poor at best, I know at one point Nissan had a deal with GM to use GM engines in the Titan and Armada, don't know if this is still the case but with reliability ratings like those reported I would not be surprised. Cost aside I do not want a vehicle that is in the shop often, personally I don't like hanging out in repair shops and car dealerships. After extensive research and driving many luxury SUVs we got the GX470 because of the outstanding reliability ratings and great styling both inside and out , yes we drove the GX460 and we not impressed at all, the interior seems like the took a small step back from the 470 and the exterior is plain, just my opinion.

actually the the reliability record for the 1st gen qx56 is great... and i don't think the 2nd gen qx56 should be anything but great as well...
actually the interior of the 2nd gen gx460 is far superior to the 1st gen interior... but i will agree with ya that the 1st gen gx exterior is hard to beat...
i agree the lx570 exterior is funky looking...
