MY 2006 GX is cracked all the way across on driver's side. Received the letter also, waiting on a call to bring it in for repair!

i bought my 06 gx cpo like 2 years ago..and im assuming they replaced the dash and whatever panels they needed to, because I have no cracks what so ever and I got a letter in the mail stating they have extended the warranty on the repairs made from lexus corporate

The dashboard cracks are now going to be repaired under warranty!!! Call your LEXUS dealer

I am going to take it in after the mayham has started so I dont have to wait forever.
I haven't got a letter since I just got mine recently, and it has a bunch of miles, but I plan to go in there and not leave without a new dash =)

Yes, I was told that there was going to be a 2nd letter and there was 'none' in the system to order from (at least from the dealer here in N-CAL)

So I am waiting to get mine replaced but nothing official since the first warranty letter that I received.

Just got back from the dealer today. Service said that Lexus is releasing one dash per color per week I signed up on his "list" and would get a letter in a few months.

I sent my receipt in (from 2010) and they sent me a refund check in the mail. Good thing I keep good records!

In the market for used 04 or 05.. Is this a recall/repair eligible for any current GX owners? Clearly most of these are out of regular warranty by now.

They are extending the warranty for this part alone.
If your dash gets cracks, you are eligible for a replacement.
If you don't have cracks, no replacement (i.e. no preventative replacements).

If you haven't gotten a letter from Lexus about this, make sure you're registered as an owner:

Or stop by your local dealer and have a service advisor look up your VIN. If you already have cracks and are eligible for replacement, ask to be put on their list.

Still no 2nd letter from Lexus. I received the 1st one way back at the beginning of the year which said the replacements would likely be ready in a few months. My dealer told me they thought they would be ready by spring (if I remember correctly).

Talked to my dealer several times and they seem to not have any idea. "Should be getting that 2nd letter any time now... " they say. They told me they can't replace the dashes until the 2nd letter comes out to customers.

What the hell is taking so long?
