Does anyone else have 3 small holes in the shap of a triangle in the front face of the air box towards the front of the engine at the bottom right hand side?

Actually, the 3 holes are in the bottom

can't remember if mine had that, probably does. they put that there to drain out any water that may accidentally get that far into the intake.
Notice its at the lowest point on the intake box. A snorkel would probably be better but a couple holes there never hurts I guess.

yup mine has it, i plugged mine with silicone when I did the snorkel

Thanks guys for checking. I'm going crazy trying to figure out the source of a very faint but high pitch ringing noise in the cabin. It almost sounds like a high pitch frequency or a turbo sound. It changes with the rpms and I don't see any overt signs of a vacuum leak or hole anywhere. It's not connected to the radio by the way, meaning, it's not coming from the speakers as an electrical interference.

I can make a whistling sound come and go depending on where I have the passenger a/c vent set at with the a/c on but its probably not that.
