I'm the proud new owner of a new baby girl and a (new to me) GX470! My husband and I wanted to install the infant seat (Chicco Keyfit 30) in the middle, but it seems impossible. The only possible placement (that we've figured out) is the passenger side backseat. There are other latches straddling the middle/drivers side backseat, but the seat isn't level when using those latches. Is the only option the passenger side backseat? Thank you for any advice/experience with infant seats and the GX470. The GX470 is an awesome vehicle!

There was a lot of discussion where is the best place to put car seat. I have Britax and mine is in the middle, it attaches to the latches.

Congrats on your new baby Sarah. We have two kids, both 3 and 6 now and both my boys grew up in their infant/toddler seats in our GX. We always placed our rear/front facing infant/toddler seats in the passenger side rear seat. We just found the seats fit better there and it was more conenient to access the seat. Also this allowed for easier access to the 3rd row via the passenger seat behind the drivers seat. Both our kids are in boosters now and life seems a little more simple.
