They're yellow LED's and should never need changing. If they are out, you've either got a blown fuse or the LED is truly burned out. If the LED is shot and the GX is under warranty, they'll take care of it.

You are correct, but I think you're missing the OP point. I think he wants to change the color of the LEDs. I know I would like to in mine to an updated white LED. Anybody know the specs on the LEDs and what to replace w/ ?

Great mwbuck. Where did/are you getting the new LEDs from? I'd like to do the same thing in mine and replace the overhead console ones as they too are useless. Of course, that'll lead to the ones by the doors...
I'm sure w/ the tan interior they are more useful but in my dark grey interior they uh...er...suck. My GS (w/ cashmere) has white LEDs and they do a very nice job illuminating. Hopefully adding white to the GX will help.
