** Update 08/07 **
Having driven with the LED replacements for the first time in daylight today I have the following concerns:
1) They are not as bright as the OEM stock bulbs. Still useful but not as bright
2) There seems to be an issue with resistance as it causes the blinker to go faster than normal


Having seen so many one-eyed GX's on the road lately I replaced my DRL bulbs with LEDs purchased from ebay.

While the Sylvania website stated that my bulbs were 4157NALL however they are in fact standard 1156 Bayonet Bulbs at least on my 2005 GX. The following is a link to the seller's store on ebay:

Very nice, any issues with the lamp out warning? I replaced my side steps with LED's and they are simply outstanding and do not have that dated look of the OEM side step lights.

It looks like the oem is brighter, is that the case?

I'm not sure that the OEM is necessarily brighter the LED seems to be more focused since it's not a standard circle bulb. The LED is definitely more "orange" colored.

No warning lights so far. Does it show up somewhere on the instrument panel?

Look at the reflection on the front bumper, it seems like the LED is focus more sideway and the oem is focus more forward.

any reason why you chose 1156 instead of 4157?

3157 on this site replaces 4157.
