Im going back to a Tundra. I just picked up the Double cab, limited TRD. It obviously doesnt come close to the GX in quality of materials and ride but its 15k less MSRP...money has to go somewhere.
Im going to really miss the GX but the Tundra is a better truck for my needs.
later everyone!

The Tundra is a nice ride, it crossed my mind yesterday when I was driving the ES300 that perhaps if I were to get a boat then I'll have to trade the ES300 in for the Tundra with the Double Cab as you just got. If I don't get a boat then it'll get traded in for the Lexus RX.... Its somewhat premature to think about it since the ES300 only has 85K miles on it but you know how it goes. You get an itch one day and oops...like at what I got.
Good luck and hope you come back..soon.

All I need is something that can put 4 people in to fish in the bay. In MA we fish for Strip Bass, Blues, Sea Bass, Black Fish, COD and Tuna.
Yeah I like the IS too.
Originally I was planning on upgrading the ES for the GS but a couple of weekends ago I was in Philadelphia and the car rental place gave me a 2007Toyota RAV 4, I liked the roominess of it so much that I think the RX would be a better fit.

A 24ft boat is a heavy pull, but the tundra would handle it easily. For me that's too big of a boat to trailer around. Max for me is a 20ft.

We may keep it somewhere where we dont have to pull it around all the time but who knows. Its a ways off so im not going to worry about the size right now. You know, you may not like the RX. I found it to be sort of jittery (sp?) and weak on the highway. It may have been the loaner but I really didnt like the ride at all.

It may have to do with the fact that I was used to my GX by the time I drove the RX. Or, maybe I had a lame loaner...who knows. its nice, just too small for me.
