Ride Quality
I would tend toward the Good but I know its a truck frame. That said, I LOVE the toughness of this vehicle and the fact that it is capable of MUCH more than most people would believe while giving a ride quality as close to a car as possible. I think the GX owners are a unique group who understand this and wouldn't give them up for just a better ride.

Good while empty/low on fuel. Feels like a truck driving on a road paved with unicorns when fully loaded with 5 adults or 3/4 with a lot of luggage.

That's been my feeling although I am a new owner. It's not as amazing as many reviews led me to believe. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy trucks, and if I wanted a unibody crossover I would have bought the rx (nowhere near as rugged imho). Just a rougher ride than I was expecting, but I would classify it almost between options 2 & 3.

GX has the best ride of ANY body-on-frame truck that I've driven. It has just the right balance of comfort ride vs truck toughness.

you actually bring up a good point.
my GX470 rides better than most of my past cars; better than wifes acrua tl, better than my F-150, better than my dodge 2500, and a hell of a lot better than my lowered m3.
seems like when you start looking compartively there probably isnt a lot that rides much better. only things that come to mind that i have personal experiance with are a w211 e-class and a E39 5-series.
probably a good indication that our seat of the pants dials are a little off and when you actually compare to other cars real world performance the gx is really smooth.
