I purchased a fully loaded 2004 GX470 last fall. My car has everything except KDSS. It stickered at $51,893 and I paid $47,500. My parents have decided they want the same exact car as mine. They live in MD and I am in Oregon however they have asked me to handle the transaction for them.

I have contacted 3 different dealerships and the new MSRP is $55k the 3rd row seat is no longer free plus price increases. The lowest anyone has been willing to get me is $51,300.

I am discouraged. Is this the norm for '05's being $4,000 more or is also the difference between West and East Coast pricing?

If anyone has any insight I would appreciate it, or an idea of a more "flexible" dealership.

What options are you looking for? I just picked up an 05' with "everything" except KDSS and Rear Seat Entertainment for $47,900 plus tax and registration. Car was picked up this past Saturday and I live about 20 miles outside New York City...not typically an inexpensive area.

MSRP just over 54k.... Sorry don't have exact numbers in front of me. Dealer expects delivery by month end..(I ordered in December... to get KDDS without sport trim)

The only option we did not order...RESS. We agreed on 3100 over invoice... Should be just over 50K.... I'm in the midwest (chicago)

Has anyone had any luck getting Sat Radio from factory? I thought I saw that lexus/ toyota would begin offering in Feb??

It seems like I should be able to get this under $50k, especially since I paid $47,500 foran 2004 equipped identically..

They would go anywhere within a couple hundred miles to get it..

Like "First_GX", I too purchased an '05 on Long Island with everything except KDSS and RSES for $47,700. I had priced around the tri-state area first and this was the best price.

My friend also pick up his GX from Lexus of Massapequa last saturday and he pay $47,700 . I think thats a great price for an 05 GX everything but KDDS and rear enter... I got the same truck color an all for an 04 on 10/30/04 for $46,600 .

I was just contacted by my salesman tonight and he said mine will be ready for p/u by end of March. Can't wait!

i kinda feel like i over paid for my 05 gx..
nonsport everything besides rear entertainment $49,000 at wilmington Lexus in delaware.
it was the only lexus dealership within 50 miles from where i live and i didnt want to go too far..

Yep, the difference between the 04 and 05's identically equiped is running between $3,500 and $4,000 more for the 05. One of the main reasons for this is that the 04's came with the rear seat option included for free at the end of the year. Now, Lexus charges for it so essentially, I got about $7,400 off the MSRP for my 04 compared to another guy on here recently that got the identical GX (same color and options - everything excpet KDSS) as mine. He was able to negotiate about $3K off sticker. My final cost was $46.409. His was $49.600 (I think). Do a search on my name. You will find the post whosing the price differences.
