Anyone try Downhill Descent Mode?
I use the car on hills a lot and I am wondering how I am supposed to engage the downhill descent. The manual is oh so confusing and I would hate to mess up my transmission and drivetrain. I'd rather ask someone who's already tried it. I've tried it once but not sure what's supposed to happen. I engaged the low gear, pressed the button and the car started vibrating.

In late fall I used the downhill assist while driving down Mt. Washington in the White Mountains in NH in my '03 GX. The system was great. Hit the button, put it in 1st and I only used the brakes 2 or 3 times. The Ford in front of me was smoking like a barbacue. He had to pull over to let his brakes cool down. I will probably never use this feature again but for those of you who will, it works as advertised.
