Discount
Although there is some confusion over the actual MSRP (waiting for the window sticker) they offered me about $1500 off whatever the sticker is. WHich is in line 2-3% of what others were talking about.
Ash Blue Mica and Gray Leather.
Pick up mid-late Dec.

Has your GX been allocated yet? I ask because I am waiting for my 05 as well. It didn't make the first allocation and is supposed to be on the second (I'll find out this Saturday) - that would mean delivery mid-late December as well.

I dont think so
I dont believe it has been allocated. I think they are hoping to either get it or trade for it. Also I am somewhat flexible on color (and on delivery timing too - although I think they want to see for year end). I am just shy of 50,000 on my current GX so I think I would get more for it in trade or sale if I move it out soon

GX 470 Thump
I have been dissatisfied with my 2003 GX. It had numerous problems so I traded for a new 05. The dealer gave me a excellent trade above average and also gave me a new 2005 RX to drive for a couple of weeks until the new GX arrives.
Hopefully the 05 will be a better vehicle.

Lexus GX 470
The reason I purchased another GX is what are my other choices. I would not have a GM,Ford or Mopar.
None of the German Lux companies have a vehicle as capable. The deal was great 39 for old GX ( no nav) and 3 off the 05 list price of 53,115 which has everything. Toyota makes a great product they just screwed the 03 up a bit.

Have the Dorado Gold with all options and wife loves it. Dealer did everything they said they would including providing me with an extended warranty and free 10K service. If you ever want to buy a Lexus from a top notch customer friendly you must check out Lexus of Jacksonville. Haven't noticed any vibration or clunking and really don't expect too. Car only has 15 miles on it at this point and will see how things go over the next few months. For all of you out there just remember customer service goes just as far as quality of vehicle.
Just finished going to battle with dealer and Lexus Customer satisfaction about the vibration and clunk issues in my 2003 GX 470. For me the dealer did me justice. They have ordered me a 2005 GX 470 for delivery early December, purchased my 2003 with no out of pocket expense, and gave me 2004 RX 330 loaner for use until my 2005 arrives. Word from manager is 2005 will have larger engine, blue tooth, 4th generation navigation w/back up camera, and satellite radio. Will advise if everything works out as laid out in my purchase order come December. Good luck to the rest of you guys out there. T

The announcement about post production Sirius radio is great. Does that mean the existing ML systems can allow a Sirius receive to be integrated into them?
