Ok, that's couldn't be it. Sometimes a flush on a dirty tranny can loosen some chunk of dirt and clog a solenoid or who knows what. Stick to the drain and fill but do it more often because a drain and fill is only about 1/4 of the tranny fluid. Try doing drain and fill. Run it for a few days, drain and fill, run it for a few days drain and fill. Then do a drain and fill every 10 to 15k from then on. Change your filter while you are at it but most likely your filter is ok since that does not start clogging til around 180k or more miles. If this does not help it and as someone said it does it warm I would guess shift solenoid has too much leak. (So it can be electrically ok yet still cause shift issues)

Also only use toyota tranny fluid specified

I'm having the filter changed for the next interval...my transmission shifts like new...no problems for me

Default Cold Start

I've notice sometime the car would hold on to first gear a tap longer but it is only when it is first thing in the morning and cold start up. Therefore, I usually let the car run for a min or two before putting it to gear.

Hope this helps!

Edited: 08 460 and currently at 30k but i'll change out the fluids around 40-45k

Had this issue, and did a full tranny flush recently. Definitely improved things noticeably, but still seem to be rough when the engine is cold. I am hoping a throttle-body cleaning and injector cleaning helps things out. Oh, and my car is 08 gs 350 rwd with 105k miles on it.
