yes xm is stock with the 2010-2011,in one of the videos you see me use it,
the my 2010 is like the 2013 media ,with the added touch of ivic 6dr
so to answer your question you can switch from ivic to sat ,its a beutiful thing

got it! I may have skipped a part in the video but i remember you connecting via bluetooth, is that only for the phone or for the audio that comes out of the ivic?

The ivic has its own Bluetooth signal, I think for the mirroring then the car has a Bluetooth signal
So both has to register, in your car it will say (car multimedia) I think that will sync audio , I'm not sure, one good thing on the 2010 is the Bluetooth streeming, no wires just connect

I am gen 5, no Bluetooth streaming, It appears the cable is only for the charging and video to the screen and you connect the phone via Bluetooth to the ivic and then connect the ivic to the Bluetooth of the car?

correct through the bluetooth signal, but the mhl hdmi adapter carrys the video and audio,so if you have a gen 5 its no problem....gen 4 it wont work
you dont have to have bluetooth streeming like i have for it to work
Best part it works along side your factory buttons
