Default Can I fit TPMS sensors to these wheels?

Hi all, I have a 2006 GS300 with the stock 17" rims. Basically I want to fit my 18" Lexus OEM GS300 mk1 sport rims, is it possible to get a tyre shop to transplant the pressure sensors from the stock rims to these?

Thanks.

You can but i would just get another set. I got all 4 of mine for $135 off of amazon. If you switch them out you will always have the TPMS light on, whenever you go back to your stock (winter) wheels, which would drive me up the wall. The 3GS supports two sets of TPMS sensors.

do they have to be programmed to the car or will it automatically recognize them?

The short answer is yes they have to be programmed to the car, but a good tire shop will do this when they mount the wheels for you easy enough. Search around on here and you will see numerous posts on what people have done and where they have gone to get them registered to the car when they don't have that tech stream software available.
