Whine + Smell
I have an 06...I hear a little whine & burn smell...Any ideas?

Confirmed Alternator. $812 at the dealer. Whine is gone.

nice. thanks for the info. was your battery dead at times or were you just having problems with the whining sound?

I took it in on day 1 of the whine. No battery failure. The dealer did put a load on it, & the amps dropped significantly, thus nailing it down the alternator replacement.
