just found a few threads saying that you can only burn mp3 to cs (which only fits like 20 files)...anyone know of some good mp3 receivers that matches the oem look of the dash they tried installing in the gs?

You can not replace the headunits in our gs since the a/c functions are all intergrated into the touch screen.i just installed the audiovox mediabridge to play mp3

That's exactly what I did. I bought the USA Spec one because I know they're reliable and good quality. The iPod adapter comes with RCA inputs so you can install an aux cable. I bought a more expensive RCA to Aux cable because I like better quality cables, but any will do. I would suggest getting some double sided mounting tape if you don't have some already so you can mount it at the top of the headunit for a clean install. I didn't have tape when I was installing so I ended up sticking it under the panels near the gear shifter.

These are links to what I bought.

(These cables have a block about 2x1" that converts the RCA to Aux that isn't shown in the picture)

But of course the cassette adapter or FM transmitters work too as a cheap alternative, but they're cheesy in a Lexus imo.
