Top Speed Exhaust
Brand new to the forum so I wanted to start off by hello.
So I bought my GS about a year ago and every time I would wash it I would get frustrated because the exhaust tips are heavily tarnished, even after trying to buff them out. So finally almost a year after staring at my gunked up exhaust tips I finally just decided to go ahead and purchase Top Speed's axle-back instead of just purchasing some new tips. I'm not looking for anything loud or crazy and just based off of the good comments I saw on Top Speed's customer service I figured I would give them a shot. I will try to get some pics posted as soon as I get them. Also if anyone is interested in the OEM setup I'm pulling off feel free to let me know. And of course I will try to post a video as well!!!

So I got it installed over the weekend and here is my take on it:
The tips aren't centered and are off to the passenger side of the car. They are so close to the exhaust cutouts that I can actually smell them melting the plastic when I drive it for a while. The drivers side tip is canted considerably more upward than the left side. The good news is I talked to a local muffler shop and the can fix all of the alignment issues, but obviously that will come out of my pocket. The fitment to the mid pipe was close and the opposite end of the top hangar rubs on the opposite side hangar bracket. It makes a rattle while I'm at idle. I can push the entire system more to the passenger side but this sets it off center even more. As far as the sound goes, it sounds pretty good. At idle it has a nice low tone and under load it has a little bit of growl to it. There is a slight drone between 2200-3000 rpm but most of the time I am not in that range. I have read that header wrap can help slightly with that so I might try that. I took some pics so I'll get those posted as soon as possible but it's hard when you work 100+ hours per week.
