Default control panel not working

Got the car back from bodyshop, and there were issues when they turned it over to me. First things I noticed were fuel & trunk release not working. I found the cover to the fuses in my center console, so I know they were trying hard to get things fixed before I got there. Before I left, they had the fuel door opening and the trunk opening.

A day goes by & the fuel door and trunk don't work again, actually nothing works on the panel (AFS, mirrors, etc)

What do I check first? Is there an easy fix?

The last time the panel stopped working, it was because the car wash people had somehow managed to pull it down & out of position, disconnecting the datacable all together. Lexus got $350 out of my pocket for that fix, since I didn't realize what had happened until well after leaving the car wash.

Take it back to bodyshop and tell them to fix it. If it was working going in, it should be working coming out of there.

This is why I don't let people work on my cars. I wash and service my own vehicles and usually sell them if they ever required body work. I have a hard time when it comes to getting tires/alignments done.

People are just careless.

Ditto, for the most part. That was the first and last time I've sent a car through the car wash, and I do all other things myself. There are lessons you have to learn the hard way. I wish I could've just sold this car after the uninsured d-head tboned me. I was on my way to the car wash for a final detail before trading it in the next day on a newer body LS460. That was a month & a half ago, and 37 days in a Mazda MX6 (ugh), which insurance covered 30 days of. Sweet Jesus, what a tool job this has been, and the lack of attention to detail out of this body shop is mind blowing.

Did you look up the reviews on the body shop before taking it to them? I always refuse service when my insurance tells me to take it to THEIR body shop.
