I will have to disagree with you on that one - The Garax bulb has 8k written on it.

Also, the picture of that car you posted the lights like pretty blue to me im guessing 10k?
And the ballast also matters as well I didnt use aftermarket ballast when I installed the garax bulb so that may be the reason why its not blue.

I just changed the bulb for the headlight.

But for the foglight I purchased a fog light kit on ebay.

My setup.

Headlights - 8k garax
Foglight - 6k EuroEFX canbus fog kit - (not sure why i purchased the canbus version) but I paid $115 on ebay.

Parking lights - petco 194 (white)

I'm sorry but that looks awful. Looks like 12k, rather than 8k

We still all do it though .

Find me one thing nowadays that researchers have found ISN'T bad for you.....

P.S. I'm sure talking on your phone is worst for your brain than looking at some blue light
Did you know the original name for "microwave" is "radiowave"? Maybe it is frying something in us, it seem more and more ppl nowadays are having cancer.

All of these high color temp bulbs are stupid, imho. They all reduce light output. You want more light? Switch to a 50 watt ballast/bulb. That will light up the squirrels at night.

^ ppl are exercising their stupidity right. Too much light isn't good either, your eyes need contrast to see.

But be careful, you can't use the stupidity right with the lord Obama. The rodeo clown got fired cause of it. More and more our US gov is becoming oppressive.

I did not, howeer, I'm sure they called it a Microwave because it is a different form of a wave. They probably used Microwave because they found out that food isn't heated by radio waves, as you listen to radio waves over the air .

IIRC, the blue light fatigues the eyes more. I think the website (intelexual.net when it was still around) cited a report saying the best light output is 6300k (or something along those lines). It produces the most usable light output compared to 8000k+ which produces more color+

Hmm, mine's is the same, 8000k. I don't wanna start a whole this color temp vs that color temp argument. but I got the 8000k box also:

Mine's is 8000k Headlights, 8000k HID Pro aftermarket HID foglights, w/ 8000k HID Pro aftermarket HID high beams. They're all color matched together well IMO, slightly SLIGHTLY off.

I'm also still on O.E. ballast from Lexus, so I'm not sure if that matters.

You couldn't be anymore wrong.

12k is venturing into the purple range, I know because I've purchased the same set for a friend long ago.... The output on 12k isn't that bright either, it's like you taking a regular house light bulb and tinting a purple tint over it.
