I believe that chrome door handles make most cars look better - just the right amount of bling-bling to make the sides of the vehicle pop. I saw a 3rd generation GS with chrome door handles the other day which lead me to this thread. hiendo85, where did you get yours from & how are they holding up?
I contacted an auto-body shop & they said that stripping door handles & then dipping them in chrome would cost ~$75-100 each.
I then went on-line and found these but there are no reviews so I was hoping that maybe someone here is familiar with the product: 2006-2008 Lexus GS300 Chrome Door Handle Covers (w/smart access) : Amazon.com : Automotive
There are also these but the cheap price worries me but at least they tell you that it is plastic: Mirror Chrome Side Door Handle Covers Trims for 06-08 Lexus GS 300 430 2006 2007 2008 Brand : Amazon.com : Automotive
Thanks!

I think they look nice on the GS. Something about your car's door trim and door handles seem to compliment each other better. Maybe because the car doesn't look "stock", it makes it personalized to your taste.
Note: I own an ES350 and I just blacked out my chrome door trim and door handles. ES door trims shape was too curvy and soft compared to other cars, so I decided to stealth it.

Great timing to see this thread, mine just showed up having ordered them a while ago off eBay. Guess it was a slow boat from China LOL but the quality seems good and they were dirt cheap (under 20 bucks). Remember with this kind of stuff it's pretty much all the same so sort your search with lowest price + shipping first and go quickly to the best price.
I think the look is right on darker colors.

This is an aftermarket one for the 4GS. It's made of stainless steel w/chrome finish. I like how it doesn't cover the entire door handle, making it look more elegant.
Too bad I can't find them for the 3GS.
