Default 06 GS300 Engine Fault Code P2757 - Transmisison Problems

Just wondering if anyone had any experience with this issue with the "world" transmission or whatever it's called.

During low rpm cruise and light throttle acceleration below 2000rpm the transmission feels like its lagging or doesnt engage until after like a second or two after you press the gas pedal down. Been happening the past couple months and I would like to find a fix for it instead of buying a used trans $1200+ (which may develop the same problem) or new trans $3500+.

Just picked up this code the other day as well.

P2757: Torque Converter Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Control Circuit Performance or Stuck Off

Recently changed the fluid over a year ago with Toyota ATF @ Longo Lexus.
Car has 140k+ miles on it.

Thanks ahead of time!

Phillip

I got the same code the other weak, then the CEL went away. Weird part is, my car runs perfectly fine. Waiting for my CEL to come on again to drop it off and see what's really going on!

Can't believe no one has an issue with this. Just popped off a new code last week.

I took mine in, the code was still there even tho the CEL disappeared. Dropped it off at my buddys shop and he did my tranny flush again and leveled it out. he said whoever did the flush overfilled it by 1.5-2 qts. Now it's leveled and drove fine and no CEL lights. Two weeks ago, the CEL came on again and I made an appt with Longo Lexus. While driving there, the CEL disappeared again. Lexus called me yest to tell my nothing is wrong with my car BUT, in the near future, I may have a tranny issue. So yeah, nothing resolved. ha ha.

I'll be happy if my car can get to that many miles before it has transmission problems... I just calculated it out, at the rate that the miles go on my car it will be 22 years from now before it reaches 140,000 miles.

hey fellas, this is wierd, i have lexus gs300 2006 and i have 144k on the car, i dont have this issue and i hope i never will. to be honest i never chaged the transmission oil at all since i gotten the car. the only issue i have is that the first gear to second gear, shifts hard like a jerky shift. i got this car in LA and maybe the stop and go traffic strained the transmission alittle? but the other gears are smoooothhh

Actually, I have this issue, and that's what led Lexus and my buddy to confirm it's a tranny issue. Does your RPM drop to 0?

Try doing a transmission flush, make sure they run chemical to clean the inside. I have had good experience with BG transmission flushing on other vehicles. Certain dealers offer this service!

Here is another link with same issue
