Default Muffler delete.

Has anybody done or considered a muffler delete? Seen it done in the isf section so I was wondering.

My buddy did it on his IS250... It sounds surprisingly good!!! Haven't done it on my GS though, but I'm sure they would sound very similar...

I deleted my secondary cats, resonator and mufflers. from the axle back i built my own piping and have resonated tips. they actually made a big differance.

Sounds interesting, you forgot to post what engine type you have on your vehicle, as they sound different on each engine

Let me tell you a funny story, I installed an invidia mid pipe to replace the stock catted midpipe and guess what? I lost low end torque.

I am not sure if a muffler delete will do anything for you power wise, but I would safely say it would make your car louder! We should thank our lucky stars we drive V8's, otherwise anything you do of that nature to a V6, will sound like a honda!!!

Yes I have felt the same thing and actually, I have thought of putting the stock pipe back for a baseline dyno before adding my hi-flow cats and invidia midpipe - so I can see exactly what is going on.

I thought the muffer will be at least warm or hot after driving a long distance.
Today after driving about 80 miles high way I could touch both mufflers with my bared hand.
It was 55 degrees F outside..
