Default Brake Master Cylinder burping noise

Help Please..

My brake master cylinder is making a burping noise every time i press n hold the brakes. Do you guys think I have air in my lines? I recently changed my rear pads, but i didn't bleed it.. Any ideas would help. Thanks.

Based on the symptom that you're describing, it's quite possible.

It is not necessary to bleed your brakes after a pad change, unless you change calipers, opened bleeder fittings or your fluid is not its rich golden colour anymore. I would recommend having the system completely bled, because it never hurts to have nice, new fluid in your lines.

The other question you have to ask yourself is; is the brake pedal firm, or does it feel mushy and can bottom out? If you have a loss of braking power and/or your pedal is very soft and bottoms out, then you could very well have air in the lines.

I also don't know if your car has the ECB (I have a gs450h and it does). If this is the case, then the electric vacuum pump makes lots of funny noises I find.
