Default Ignition coil pack question

When do you replace the ignition coil pack?

I was not aware this was a routine maintence item. Did you hear differently? Are you misfiring?

took my car to a local lexus dealership and after a quick test drive, the mechanic told me that my gs might be misfiring. But, unfortunately, unless my gs300 gives me a code, he can't do anything about it.
