Default 3g turbo?

I did a search and I couldnt really find out why there's not alot of turbo kits for the 3gen gs.All I saw was that someone put that it was a bastard child of the gs I currently own a 2gen gs but it's going on 13 yrs old so thats why I was looking at a 3rd gen gs but I was trying too see why there aren't any turbo options to get more power?

doesn't make any sense on how it's some "bastard" child, it's got new and improved engine components and what not The cars in this gen aren't built for power, but more for reliability and gas efficient.

All in all, there's no turbo options (unless you figure a DIY/piggyback/EMS system + custom turbo). I think the reason why people aren't answering your question is because it's soo repetitive lol! There's S/C options too. These engines are very similar to the IS350 (the GS350 anyway) and you can build a baseplant off of that.

NP buddy, hope all this helped you out in some way! BTW, neither the 2nd gen GS's nor the 3rd gen models were built for turbo, very weak components compared to the 2jz Supra engines, but they can just get you by with LITTLE power mods. The v8's rods are built like pencils on the 3UZs hahaha

lol..... hope you're ready for a 6-sp swap and the rear diff too! You'll need a full donor supra or from front to back components of a supra to get some real power out of your GS
