Selling my '06 GS: Sell as-is w/ mods or return to stock?
I’ve decided to sell my ’06 GS430.
Some pics of the car are on my other thread:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...les-later.html
Over the years, I’ve gone through a lot of cars. Every car I sold was modified to some degree. All but one of them I chose to return as close to stock as I could, and sell the mods separately. Only problem is that seems to take a lot of time, patience and work. I despise driving around looking for boxes big enough to hold ground effects, bumpers, wheels, etc – and then having to ship them.
I’d hate to remove all the mods off the GS as I think its setup perfectly. That being said, I’m realistic and not willing to lose a lot of money just because I want the car to “go to a good home”. What’s everyone’s opinion on this? Should I keep the car as-is and hope the right buyer will come along that’s willing to pay a premium for my car w/ mods? Or should I part out the car and disseminate it’s mods to the Club Lexus community?
If I did part it out, in the near future I’d be selling:
(1) Carson Tuned body kit – front, sides, rear
(2) Carson Tuned window spoiler – also have front grill
(3) IForged Trial’s staggered w/ new Falken F452’s
(4) Rotora Front & Rear Big Brake Kit – metallic blue
(5) Vizage Urethane Front Lip (fits 2006 & 2007)
(6) Tanabe Medallion Touring exhaust
(7) Tanabe DF-210 Lowering Springs

This particular Carson Tuned kit was one of the very first kits produced. This is the same car that they used for their photo shoots w/ the silver GS. The only difference was back then the car wasn't lowered & the lips weren't powdercoated black like they are now.
