Default what does it mean if "brakes are green"

i was looking at the service records thru mylexus and it said that at 59K miles
BRAKES GREEN, SEE YOUR SERVICE CONSULTANT ON YOUR NEXT VISIT

it also said that about the tires.

i've never heard of that but it doesn't sound good.

anybody know what that means?

Green may be a reference to the check list done at every visit. The sheet is color coded with green being good, yellow being average, and red meaning replace.

It's the measurement of your brake pad material left on the vehicle

Green = 70~100%left 7mm or more
Yellow = 70~30%left 4-7mm
Red = 30~0%left 0-3mm

So green means your brakes are in good shape so you shouldnt need to worry about it

Great explanation Mikeyy. I figured that had something to do with it. I was just trying to remember what was on the checklist the dealer does when the car is serviced. Now I have a better idea of what the color codes mean as related to the brakes! Thx!
