Hi everyone, am new to the forum and i have A 06 Lexus GS 300 AWD red with beige interior. what percentage of tint should i go with? i am thinking of 15%-20% all around? is that dark enough that no one can see inside of the car?

You should check with your local state, to see what the law is, each state is different.
I found this site that lists all the states

In beantown that is illegal you will get pulled over, I've gotten pulled over and I got 30% in the rear, 35% in the front. Legal tint is 35% in MA

Did you guys had to do a cut around the rear sensors or just covered it with tint anyway?

in california, 70% on fronts is legal... i went with 20 on all rears and 35 on fronts lol...

and they did not cut out for the rear sensor, just covered it.. personally, i think it would look kind of weird if there was a little square cut out for the sensor.. I'm pretty sure you can remove the dark little sensor cover anyways since the tint will compensate for it

Lol I am having the same issue my cars getting tinted next Monday and I cant decide how dark to tint them. I also live in CA but no one here follows the tint laws haha. I was thinking for either 35% front and 20% on the back or 20% all around. Also when the block the sensor with the tint does it effect anything?

i did 7% tint all around and i had to remove the black sensor cover at the back in order for the park assist to work, it was too dark for it to sense with black sensor cover on.

I had a car with beige interior and went with 20% tints all around and regretted not going with 5%, you can definitely see through the tint, on my gs I have black interior and 15% is dark enough that no one can see me, hope that answers your question

I actually ended up with 7% all around and cause of the windshield you can slightly see inside the car depending on the angle of the sun and the beige interior doesnt help at all, was thinking of going to 5% but don't think the 2% difference will make much of a difference

Well If you are from Mass I say your brave for that one, Take pics so when can see how it looks. I get pulled over to much, but that could be due to the exhaust and LED emblems

^ and I thought MD was an *** for pulling me over for my 30% tint. Legal is 35%, I had to remove mind and too lazy to put it back.

Is there a 40% tint? I know there is a 50%. Maybe one of our sponsor can do a group sale?
