My power side mirrors on my 2006 GS 300 move left and right with no issues, but do not move up and down on either side.

Has anyone seen this problem? Is it a problem with the switch or maybe a fuse?

I believe it depends on what your switch is on for the power side mirrors. IIRC if you leave it in the middle it won't move down when you put it in reverse. To fix it try putting it on the LEFT or RIGHT and see if it works then!

try this: Grab wd40 with red straw nozzle and spray it inside the mirror. Wait for couple mins and using the mirror directional button, try to go up and down. This method help me with my other car.

more than likely the gears are busted as its a common problem.

Its the acutator, I had the same problem and dealer fixed it. If under warranty I would try to get it fixed if not you might have to try to get behind the mirror to fix it.

If not under warrenty. Find a used one off eBay for like 40 bucks if ur lucky and switch out the gears/ motors. Been working fine for me for over a year now. Pretty easy

yep, sounds like the mirror actuator is toast. my driver's side mirror had the same symptom of being able to move side-to-side but not up or down.
luckily i still had extended warranty so the actuator was replaced under warranty. Lexus was billed $350+ if i remember correctly.
