Has anyone thought about an LSX swap in a 3GS?
Just doing some preliminary research...thinking of swapping an LS-1 into a 2006 GS300. I know you can get mounts for the 2GS but I wonder if they are the same in the gen 3 GS.
Also curious about wiring, is it similar to a 2GS swap where you basically leave everything alone except for the engine ECU and use the GM ECU?
Are most of the systems stand alone in the newer gen car?
Thanks
Damon

would the 6 and 8 cylinder engine mounts not use the same mounting point on the chassis? Would the engine mount location not be the same for the 300 and the 430? Isn't the 430 a carry over from the gen 2 car?

Why man? Why. I get swaps in general, mainly though I get same make swaps among the models. But if you need more power.. buy the luxury sedan that already has the V8 your looking for.....

If lexus made a manual and you could fully kill the traction control then i wouldn't be thinking about this. Like the 2gen setup, but that cars looking a little dated...love the look of the 3gen, inside and out.
