Im looking to run a more stretched set up than I currently have. My current set up is right on with factory specs and I would like to maintain close to the same overall diameter. Based on the tire calculator a 215/35-20=245/30-20 on a 9x20 and a 245/30-20=285/25-20 0n a 10.5x20 are these too much of a stretch. I would assume I am going to lose side wall height with the stretch so would a 225/35 on a 9 and a 255/30 on a 10.5 be more appropriate????

I have answered my own question 215/35-20 is a hard size to find if its even made. I think the 225/35-20 stretched on a 9 will be close enough

That should work. I just had the same size tire mounted on a 9.5.

Check this site too http://www.tyrestretch.com/index.php. They have a lot of stretched tire examples so you can get an idea on how they will look like.

yea a 225 on a 9" wide wheel shouldnt be a problem. i suggest you take it to a good tire place that has experience in stretching tires.
