We were locked out of our Gs350.
The fob was inside my wife's purse, we both get out and she put her purse inside the trunk. I locked the door manually with the lock switch and closed my door. At the same time my wife shuts the trunk. Dang! Doors were locked for good.
Locksmith used one of those air bags and long skinny coated coat hanger...he pushed the unlock button a thousand times...while I pulled the door handle....after about 15 minutes of that, it opened. With the alarm going, the trunk button wouldn't work, so I had to climb into the back seat, open the through passage and grab my wifes purse from the trunk and get the key! 50 bucks later.....

Lead Lap
Last year I was at the golf course getting my stuff together before the round. All my doors were locked and I put my keys in my golf bag. Needing to go get a cart and pay for the round I just put the clubs back in the trunk. Whoops! After freaking out for 2 minutes, I just thought...I'll just walk up to the trunk and push the button for the trunk to open. The trunk opened with no problem.
This is interesting though. I'm gonna try several different variations with the trunk, car off, car on...etc to see what will and won't work.

My mom had her fob in her purse and she put in the trunk not wanting to carry it with her. I had my fob and tried to lock the door, it didn't work. Door lock and unlock instantly. Took me a sec to figure out b/c she had her fob, I did the manual lock. Came back couldn't unlock, had to do a manual unlock.

Odd. I've never been locked out before. Doors always unlock themselves with fob in car in my experience. I never thought you could open your trunk with your fob in there! I closed the trunk one time with my fob in the trunk, my doors were unlocked and I instinctively went to press the trunk release.
