All: I know a LOT of G3 owners think that LED lightbars make the 3GS into "Audi" wannabees, however, of late, Porsche, Mercedes and even Hyandai have released both DRL and night accents as OEM equipment on their cars... I really like this look and was thinking about getting the Vline G2 for my ride, when available....

Anybody thinking about doing same????

My thoughts are to mount low and either augment or extend the OEM fogs....possibly disable the OEM fogs altogether, but not sure how that would look...any thoughts appreciated...

I've thought about doing this too, but I'm not a fan of the VLine products. Crazy expensive and a little too xmas'y for me. I like the idea of doing an LED DRL to replace our anemic yellow ones. I was just noticing the other day how seemingly every other car on the road is running the same half-voltage high beam DRL that we are.

LED lightbars or strips aren't a fad or particular to a few manufacturers. As I mentioned a few months ago in a similar thread, the 2010 LS 460 Sport has them, and I'd be shocked if we didn't see the 4GS with them.



I like the idea of the fogs too, but I just converted mine to 6000k HIDs to match my lows (bulbs are on their way) and parking lights. Have you looked at alternatives to the VLine strip and bar?

ive been thinking about the same thing as well... ideas on where to put them, to have the stock look

I agree I like the way it looks aswell it doesnt look ricey makes the car look more luxurious imo
