How to program one touch moonroof operation?
I ahve a 2006 GS300 I bought recently. I noticed that my moonroof is not programmed for one touch operation, I have to hold all the buttons down the entire time to perform all operations, open, close, tilt, close. I have read several posts about how to program but none seem to work. Can anyone point me in the rigth direction, or know how to program it? I just looked through my owners manual and can't find anything about it.

You didn't sound like an ***, and no, if I hold it down for 1 second and let go it just stops wherever it is. I have to manually hold it down to get it to go all the way up, or all the way back. All of my other one touch features work, just not the moonroof.

hold the open button down until the moonroof opens all the way. approx. 8-10 secs.
then hold the close button down until the moonroof closes all the way. same as above.
Should work now.

I actually have the same problem. I tried the opening/closing process, but it did not seem to fix it. I opened it, continued to hold for 5-6 secs, then pushed and held close. If i hold close too long, it closes then opens via the "tilt" feature. Any ideas? Thanks.

STP -I will try your way today and see if that works. I called the dealer on the way home yesterday and the service manager told me to hold the tilt open button and let it go through this cycle which would fix it....held tilt open button, tilted up, tilted down and closed, opened all the way back, then closed all the way. She saif that should do it but it didn't.....still not programmed. She said if it didn't work to bring it in which I am going to do because I get condensation in my right front headlight when I wash it, so might as well have them take care of both issues.

rexrw-Just tried what the dealer told you to do. It worked for mine. I pushed the up button and it tilted up, tilted back down, slid open, then slid closed. After that I tried the one touch operation and it worked fine. Sorry dude. Best of luck on yours.

Open the sunroof all the way, hold the button for 10 seconds, close the roof, hold for another 10 sec, that should work.
BINGO!!!! Worked like a charm.
You are the MAN....
Can't thank you enough. It's remarkable how you get so used to these small luxuries that you take them for granted....but miss them SO much when they're gone.
