It probably depends on where the puncture is, and how far you have driven it flat. I picked up a nail in one of my runflats when i had 300 miles on the car. Dealer patched it, that was 2 1/2 years and 22K miles ago and no problems with it since then.

dumped the Dunlop runfarts for two sets:
(Spring to Fall) 18" Michelin Pilot Sport A/S
(Winter) 17" Michelin Alpin PA3

both are very smooth and quiet.

What did you pay for the spare tire? My dealer is quoting around $400 to place a donut spare in the trunk.
