Question to my California CLers
Hey everyone,
So the ski seasons coming up soon and volunteers to drive up to tahoe are always thin amonst my group of friends.
I have a '06 GS300 RWD with Michelin All-Seasons. Anyone take their GS up to Tahoe before?
Can you share your experience driving it up there? Any problems with rock chips are scratches? That really the only thing I'm worried about.

IMHO, you don't take a Lexus (car) to Mammoth or Tahoe and you definitely don't take a rwd car up there - CHP won't let you get past the grapevine or Bishop w/out awd & chains. I've seen too many newbs that spin out or lose control in the wet slippery stuff that you're better off renting a pickup or SUV from enterprise and leaving the Lexus in the garage.
