Does 2006 GS300 run on Timing belt or chain?
I am looking at a used 2006 GS300 for my next car. I know it has a unique 3.0 V6 engine (discontinued after 2007 with the introduction of GS350). Toyota doesn't seem to be using this engine in any other cars in the U.S.
Does it run on timing belt or timing chain?

The current Camry 3.5L V6 runs on a chain. The model(s) before runs on a belt (3.3L and 3.0L MZ-FE type engine).
Thanks guys for clarifying the engine chain question. I will start looking for my GS300 soon.

Regardless of being a timing chain, it too needs servicing as well.
