rear seat lights and other q's-what makes them go on?
I noticed at night when I drive the rear seats dont have any lights shining on them. You know the ambiant (sp) lighting? But I could've sworn I saw them on when I had my kids in the back seat. Is it something that only turns on when you have someone in the back? Or when something opens a back door?
And the puddle lights. It goes on when I get near the car. BUT it doesn't turn on when I exit? Nor does it seem to go on if I disarm the car. So does that mean the only time it goes on when I walk up to the car?

Puddle lights (shine from under your side rear view mirrors) will only turn on when you approach the car. During exiting the vehicle these light would be essentially usless as they would be illuminating the area along side of the front tire due to the postion of the front door during exiting.
As for the rear seat lights I do not recall the prerequisites for these to come on, aside from during entry into the car.
