Just test drove the 450h and is350
450h - wow what an amazing engine, even sounds like a V8 somehow!!!! Unfortunately the ride was too plush and the interior while nice was neither sporty enough nor luxurious enough - kind of weird. I really don't like the grey plastic around the dash.
IS350 - engine was responsive but seemed slower than the 450H without a doubt. Handling was amazing even on luxury model. When I got back into my TL Type S it felt slow - great testiment to the 350 engine. Only dissappointment was the sound of the engine, not very growly for some reason...probably a lexus thing.
So my question is very obvious, do they make a coilover system for the 450h and are there aftermarket sway bars? Aside from suspension, the car is a total killer for my daily commute.

Adaptive Variable Suspension
Standard on the GS 450h, Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) lets you tailor suspension to either of two settings, Normal or Sport, depending on your driving style.
Active Stabilizer Suspension System
Most vehicles are equipped with conventional stabilizer bars mounted to the suspension at the front and rear. The available Active Stabilizer Suspension System in the GS Hybrid equips these front and rear stabilizer bars with an actuator. Wheel-speed and steering-wheel-angle sensors send information to the syst***s Electronic Control Unit (ECU), which calculates how much force is needed to help keep the vehicle flat in a turn. This information is then sent to the front and rear actuators that torque the stabilizer bars, thus increasing the vehicle's sway resistance. What's more, since this is an electric system, response time is greatly shortened when compared to conventional hydraulic systems.
There will probably be coilovers for the GS in the future if not already available. Maybe the suspension systems currently available will fit.

Not really. The **** improves on the AVS and the stock suspension system. That is why the **** is an option and the AVS is standard, or in your case **** is not an option and AVS standard. The **** give the GS450h little to no body roll. With this option it is a much better handler.
If its not perfect for you then the IS would be a better fit.

id like to see a few gs450h owners take the car to the track. i have a strong feeling that they won't get faster times than an is350. from what ive read so far.. both cars should be dead even.

Unless my butt dyno was lying, the 450h pulls much harder. No contest.
5.2 is Lexus' specified time, I wouldn't be surprised if the car mags can do better.
After all the IS350 time according to lexus is 5.6

May be a regulatory thing on the cruise? CSA, etc. in Canada??
HemantS - all GS450h's have AVS but the **** is ALSO available (in addition to AVS) in the U.S. and given the battery weight at the back, it is apparently a big improvement to keeping the *** flat. (Sorry, couldn't resist)

All you need is set of coilovers and you are set to go.

So if you add coilovers to the GS450h that has the Active Stabilizer Suspension System...there shouldn't be any problems with the system messing up?... ...would be cool if that's all that is needed...
