1000 over invoice?

1000 over invoice?
Superstition springs MAY give you 1000 over invoice on a new unit IN STOCK only if it is a color that is not selling well. Im guessing chardonnay pearl, cypress pearl, etc. NON NAV units only.
The gentleman called me back and I initially told him 500 over invoice. He quoted me 1000 over invoice ONLY for black/black . He has black/black sitting in his lot for about week and is willing to do it for 1000 over invoice if im serious to do somethign concrete and lock the car in. Selling price would be $41,600
Includes, cargo nets, mats, wheel locks, adaptive front lighting sysytem with rain sensning wipers, power rear sunshade, ventilated seats, power tilt slide moonroof. MSRP 45,679
What do you think?
(By the way, i called other dealerships around the country and they told me that this dealership is seriously going to be looked at by lexus to have its operatign lecense removed becasue they sell therir lexus like fords and toyotas..telling invoice and selling vehicles by quoting "invoice plus profit". Dealers aroudn the area told me that they cannot match thier prices for the new GS and they said this dealership is in jeopardy of being pulled from the lexus dealer ring.
Does anyone know the credibility ofthis dealer?

I think you should buy the car. That's probably the best price you'll get. Who cares if that dealer will be there or not a year from now. It's not like the car will be different in any way. I'm willing to bet that they don't have the best salesmen though. A good salemen would have you paying a little more with a smile on your face.

$1000 over invoice is for real with essentially the same specs you mentioned (except I also got the rear spoiler) and as you said, as long as the car is on the lot. That was the deal I got and it's with the color I wanted (mercury metallic w/black).

wow, jump on it, but i really dont believe the other guys, not necesarily on the new gs, but on other cars they go by profit plus invoice..... if they can do it on other cars why not on the gs too...
