You will need a small flat head screw driver, a phillip head screw driver, a 10mm socket and a towel to protect the navigation unit.
First, remove the plastic trim underneath the nav( just right above the ashtray) by pry it out with a small flat head screw driver.
Hint: Tape the screw driver with Scotch tape to protect the finish of the trim.
Hey,
Thanks a lot for the detailed DIY dash removal, its very easy to follow. Expect maybe u can add that the 2 10mm bolts are hidden behind a black plastic thing because i couldn't find them for about 10 minutes.
Please, help me. I did the DVD hacks like others, but mind is not working and navi screen say like "contact the dealer and no internal memory". On the other hand, i can play DVD in motion but not the Navi. Do you think, because i unplugged all the connctor from the unit. Thanks in advance.
