My OCV was sticking... I had a pending 1349 when I first go the car. Cleared it and it didn't return, but the car would periodically hesitate.... I'd have to get further on the pedal than normal for her to really kick in... and would have to floor it for it to ever kick down a gear

I pulled mine, and actuated it manually and it was dragging and sticking. I disassembled it and cleaned it and reassembled... fixed my hesitation

So... just a thought.... you can have an issue with it without getting codes.... and it certainly hesitates and/or lacks power if it's not functioning properly

Few things come to mind but the easiest would be to check/clean your MAF sensor near your airbox. That can cause hesitation easily. Hope this is of some help!!

Mine was doing the same thing when I first got it about a month ago, probably worse. Cleaned the MAF sensor with the CRC sensor cleaner, took the TB completely off to clean it real good with the CRC TB cleaner, and I also checked for any vacuum leaks.
Helped solve the problem.

Throttle Body

Dirty Mass Air Flow sensor or Throttle Body can do this also

Bad gas perhaps? I'm diehard Chevron but I stray to other brands when prices soar. That's when I experienced throttle hesitation. Went back to Chevron and problem disappeared.

Check your air intake hose for leaks, usually on the bottom side close to the exhaust side.

Also check the gasket of the TB. Over the years our car the gasket of the TB spent a little and start to leak in that area and that causes the hesation as well. My other recom. is be careful when you are cleaning the TB because you use the product can enter inside of the small holes that are inside of the TB and the cleaner go inside of that small holes and damage the TPS when you do that. Be careful with that. My best recommendation is to use a friend and do it with the engine running and your friend rev the engine to 1,500 rpm or 2,000 and there will start to use the TB cleaner. So you know you're just cleaned the TB and so the cleaner no goes into the small holes inside of the TB. Good luck and give us and update please.
