Welcome to Club Lexus

Do some searching, this car has been around for 17 years, you'll find MANY threads with many pictures. Check out our build thread section of the GS forum, you'll find many pics there as well.

Welcome! Congrats on finding the best forum for the 2GS. Can't wait to see what you have in store for your car!
Just as a note before anyone else says it:
Don't rush your build, invest in quality, "real" parts that will last. You'll thank yourself later. Check out the sub-forum for everyones builds to see some well built 2GSs.
Good luck!

This is my baby! Pretty much 100% Stock, some minor changes (brakes and such) but I get to start from scratch customizing her my way

Welcome to CL. Easily the best DIY and FAQ site for owners of these cars.

Where should you start? Just drive it and enjoy the experience! Take it on the highway and see how smooth this car is.

And then get ready to be tempted with mods to make it even better. Post some more pics when you can as well.

when i get a new used car i always do the maintenance stuff first. fluids all around. plugs. timing belt. seals.

and on the 2nd gens...lower ball joints

then plan out your build so you dont end up just trying things out (im not sure if youve built a car before so its hard to have an idea if this is your first)

have fun!
